RESPONDING TO UAS INTRUSIONS
Designed for the patrolman who will need to respond to a UAS call and understand the complexities of Federal Aviation Regulations. A combination of scenario based examples and a deep dive into the UAS regulatory environment.
INTEGRATING UAS INTO THE AGENCY
This course is designed to teach law enforcement officers and fire/rescue entities how to effectively integrate UAS into their organization. The course includes topics on Parts of a UAS, control station, control link, frequency bands & limits, payloads, and legal/regulatory issues. The course dives into FAR Part 107, and explores Federal and State Laws Regulating UAS, as well as the leading safety issues impacting UAS operations. Participants will walk away from this workshop with all the tools needed to successfully initiate and run a UAS operation.
